Eugenia Keegan’s love of agriculture sprouted very early as her fondest childhood memories are those hanging out around the family ranch with her grandfather Eugene (for whom she was named). A fifth generation from Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, a love of pinot noir was a natural. Her professional life has been devoted to wine, the highlight of which were her ten vintages as owner/winemaker of KEEGAN CELLARS producing small lots of highly acclaimed pinot noir and chardonnay from RRV. A stealth arrow from Cupid resulted in a move to Oregon where, after six years of owning a fine wine distribution company (sold in October, 2009), she is happily returning to farming and winemaking.
